Walleye, Northern Pike, White Bass and Catfish

D & S Campground and Guide Services provides excellent fishing. The main fish we catch is walleye. They are extremely good to eat.

Lake Oahe and the Moreau River come together in the Swan Creek area. These two rivers improve your chances of catching a trophy fish. Limits of walleye are caught daily between 16 to 20 inches. Each person is allowed one walleye over 20 inches a day. You are allowed four walleye per day. It is not uncommon to catch plenty of white bass, catfish, and northern pike in addition to your walleye limit.

My boat is a Lund 20.5 foot Pro-V equipped with the latest electronics, motors, and accessories. Powered by two motors, a Yamaha 225 HP and 8 HP kicker. Most trolling is done with an electric Minkota or the 8 HP motor. Newer fishing rods, tackle, and fresh bait make for a successful trip.
